I found the perfect little white dress, so summer can officially begin now. I got this beauty on sale from Need Supply. It’s a bit sheer and would be great as a beach cover up, but since our beaches are freezing and I rarely go to them, I’ve just been wearing it around the city with black granny panties.
It’s taken me a good long while to get into this whole track pants/joggers thing, but I’m finally there. They really are just glorified sportswear, and I have a sneaking suspicion that future me (like, 10-15 yrs from now) will roll my eyes when I look back at these pictures, but for now, I love them.ZeroUV sunnies, Amatoria crop top, pants from Need Supply, Vince Camuto heels, Alexander Wang bag
Blogging from an airplane at 5:30 am right now. Good morning! I’m on my way to Omaha for two baby showers, my bridal shower, and a whole lot of wedding planning. Holy adulthood.
Since we’re down to just two months until le wedding, I’m trying to hurry up and square away all the little details. One thing I love about it all: I get to support several local businesses and artists that I know personally and really love (more on that in future posts). My biggest fear was that this would feel like a conveyer-belt wedding, but it’s shaping up to be just the opposite.
In non-wedding-related news: we went to the Röyksopp and Robyn concert on Saturday night. It was fantastic. Best surprise ever was Susanne Sundfør’s appearance. I had no idea she was on the tour, and she’s my absolute favorite singer on earth. I’ve seen her once before at The Chapel (perfect venue). Her voice is incredible, and it’s even better live. If you don’t know her music yet, change that immediately.
Sunday was the Pride parade and also it was extremely warm outside, so I ran around all day in this barely-there muscle tank from Reformation and denim pencil skirt from Amatoria. I never get tired of the whole visible-bra thing.
That’s it for now. Happy short work week.
